Hello, We have MOSS 2007 enterprise and Office Professional 2007. Document library settings: Requires approval = no, Versioning = on, checkout required = no. When a user uploads a document everything appears fine. They browse to the doc, click upload and fill in the metadata form. After the user clicks submit/save an error message appears, "The file Docs/Invoices.xlsx has been modified by DOMAIN\sameuser on 06 Jul 2010 11:39:06 -0500." After the user clicks "Go back to site" and navigates back to the document library, they see the document, but none of the metadata that is exposed in the view. Clicking view or edit properties for the documents shows all metadata fields (except name) as blank. I do not have any site columns in the document library. I do have a couple of lookup columns, but I have rebuilt those. Did you have to rebuild the site or just the library?
