Unable to remove two not monitored Distributed Application
Hi, Have a weird problem.. hope anyone can help. Under Distributed Applications i have two not monitored DA's (OpsLogix and Savision Live Maps), but if i go to Authoring - Distributed Applications.. they are not there. Cant find any matching Management Pack for them either So how do i remove them? /Maekee

Clear cache and registry key? What do you mean? You mean on the RMS? These are very old DA's and have been there a while/Maekee

Start you console with the /ClearCache option. And if that does not solve it, try to delete this user key before opening the console: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Operations Manager\3.0\Console It that doesn't fix it, you at least know it is not some caching issue :)Regards, Marc Klaver http://jama00.wordpress.com/

Hi Marc and thanks for your reply, I always start the console with the /ClearCache-switch and it didnt work to remove the Console Key in the registry. My Collague also sees these not monitored DA's on another computer.. so they are there./Maekee

Hi Maekee! What version of OpsMgr are you running? If you look at Administration->Product Connectors->Internal Connectors, do you see OpsLogix and Savision? If I remeber correctly, Internal Connectors showed up as Distributed Applications up to some point. (we are at R2 CU4 and the Internal Connectors do NOT show up as Dist Apps). /RogerThis posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Hi, We are using OpsMgr 2007 R2 CU3 (version 6.1.7221.49) The product connectors show up under Monitoring - Distributed Application as not monitored There are connectors that i have removed and should no longer be available in OpsMgr. But if i look under Administration - Product Connectors - Internal Connectors, they are not there. So how do i remove them? If i cant delete them/Maekee

Hi! If you run the following, in the Operations Manager Shell $Class = Get-MonitoringClass -Name Microsoft.SystemCenter.Connector Get-MonitoringObject -MonitoringClass $Class Does it return all the Connectors you see as Dist Apps? This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Incidently, how did you manage to remove the Product Connectors from Administration - Product Connectors - Internal Connectors? I've have a ton of connectors (had VMM installed at some point), incl. Savision. When I try to remove them, Remove-ConnectorFromTier, I only get an error message. /RogerThis posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
