I am experiencing the following issue: I am using SP 2007 and have Microsoft Office 2007 installed. When I check-out a document and click on the document link, word will not open. If I have the Word open when I'm clicking the document link, the document will open. When I click on the document and open it in read-only mode, the document will open. Does anyone have any ideas as to why Word will not start up with I click on a document that I have checked out? The same thing happens if I try to open up the document in edit mode on the document drop-down. Thanks!

Since most of the menu functions are JavaScript, I would check to make sure that the site is in your Trusted Zone in IE. If it's not, some JavaScript might be blocked which could potentially cause this. I trust that answers your question... Thanks C http://www.cjvandyk.com/blog
