We are using SCCM 2007 SP3 in our infrastructure and administrators use SCCM console from Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit to administer. Recently we have found that while accessing the Product details from the Resource explorer window, we get the following error and the console crashes. There is no problem in accessing the same information for the same computer account from the Site server. All the administrator PCs have the same error.

You might be able to get around the problem by right clicking on My Computer (Or Computer if you're running Vista) and choose Manage.  Then click on the Event Viewer.

Finally right click each of the logs and choose Properties and select the option that says "Overwrite events as needed".  See if that helps.

do you have issue in accessing only 'Product information' or other nodes from the resource explorer ?

I have this issue in accessing everything under Resource Explorer.
