Unable to open report folders after upgrading to SQL Server 2008 R2
I recently upgraded from SQL Server 2008 to 2008 R2 on a machine running Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. For the most part, everything is working fine, and reports can be viewed in the new Report Manager. However, I have a couple of folders that give an internal error message when I try to open them. Inside the log file, the exception is of type Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.InternalCatalogException. I tried deleting the folders to recreate them, but I get the same error when I try to delete. I can actually view the reports in these folders by providing the URL to the report directly. However, I really have no way of managing these reports. Even in Report Builder, I will get an error when trying to navigate to reports in these directories. Any suggestions on how I can repair my folder structure, or at least how I could delete and recreate it?

Hi Mike, In your case, please post the complete log information for further investigation when you encountered this issue. By default, the log information locate in <drive:>\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles. Regards, Bin LongBin Long TechNet Community Support
