I am unable to open office related files such as word,excel,ppt from SharePoint 2013 site. I can download and open in office.  I am getting the following message when i am directly clicking on the files in the document library.

 could not open '*fileurl*'.

Note: For all the document libraries, i have made option to open in client application.

Recently Emailing functionality has been enabled on the server where SharePoint is deployed.

Hi Bordan,

I checked in Logs. It is saying that "Isuthenticated=false". And also i am unable to crawl the site with https. I am getting the below error message in Crawl log: 

"An unrecognized HTTP response was received when attempting to crawl this item. Verify whether the item can be accessed using your browser.
