Hi: I have tried so many different methods to solve this issues. Using different methods that the forum suggested. We have sql server 2005. We have sharepoint 2007. We have the latest service pack for sql server and sharepoint. We are on sql server 2005 sp4. I have upgraded to report viewer to sp 1. The report is being hosted on sharepoint 2007. Everytime the user is trying to print the report. We receive an error about Unable to load client print control. I have updated the service packs. I delete the rsprint files from window explorer. (downloaded program files directory). Looking for the kb patch to see if it was installed on client and server computer. Yesterday it was the first time, I was able to see the installer the active x control on the window explorer. I started to see it after I reapply the microsoft report viewer sp1. It still gives me that same error message. "Unable to load client print control" Any solution or any idea? I will really appreciate. Thanks, kkmick

Hi kkmick, Firstly, please make sure your Internet Explorer has been configured to allow ActiveX control downloads, if not please follow these steps: 1. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, choose Internet Options, and then click the Security tab. 2. Click the Custom Level button. Scroll to the ActiveX controls and plug-ins node. 3. Click Enable for Download signed ActiveX controls, and then click OK. Secondly, downloading and installing the ActiveX control RSClientPrint.cab requires administrator permissions on the client machine, without administrator permissions, there will be this error message "Unable to load client print control". Hi Challen Fu: I am the adminstrator on my machine. I do have the administrator right on my machine to downlonad active x control. I am still having the same issue. The microsoft viewer control I have is 8.0.50727.762. I am getting the exact same message. Thanks, kkmick

Hi, The build of 8.0.50727.762 is not microsoft report viewer sp1, the true build is 8.0.50727.817, please please download it from this KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933137 Besides this, I still recommend you download the latest SP4 for SQL Server 2005 which is available at this link http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=7218 If the issue still exist, please give the feedback.
