Unable to install sccm clients and Auto discovery site
I deploy SCCM 2007server in my organization. 1. AD schema not extended, using SLP. 2. SCCM 2007Primary Server at head office. 3. SCCM 2007 Secondary site server at remote location having 2MB connection. I am unable to to install SCCM clients on workstations and my seconday site clienst are unable to discover site. Automatic site code discovery was unsucessful. location serviceslog " Won't send client assignment fallback status point message because last assignment message was sent too recently. Current AD site of machine is EniPakistan-Karachi Attempting to retrieve SLPs from AD Failed to resolve 'SMS_SLP' to IP address from WINS LSGetSLP : Failed to resolve SLP from WINS, is it published LSGetAssignedSiteFromSLP : Unable to get the list of SLPs Won't send a client assignment fallback status point message because the last assignment error matches this one. Are you using client push method to install clients? CCMSetup.log says everything fine? Have you checked the boundaries are assigned correctly and there is no overlapping of boundaries? Also, check whether your MP is working fine or not?
