Hello,
First, uninstall SQL Server Setup Support Files using Control Panel.
Second, please copy the media to a local folder (like C:\SQLMEDIA) and run SQL Server setup from there. If the media is an ISO file, unzip using WinRAR or WinZIP into the folder.
Hope this helps.

you may have to use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to tidy things up and then reinstall.
make sure you back everything up.
I know what I am going to say is irrelevant to what you ask but even if you fix your issue not, make sure you upgrade both OS and SQL as both are gone far by now.
Do you have anything logged in for Detail.txt/summary.txt ? or is it you cannot even start the setup ?
