Unable to install App Controller.

Hi everyone.

I don't know what I'm missing but I'm unable to install App Controller... I've got the SVCCM Admin Console (SC 2012) installed but the wizard always stop on the prerequisites screen, asking for install the System Center 2012 - Virtual Machine Manager Console.

"Install a supported version of the Virtual Machine Manager console. For more information, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=235965"

In the log located at "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\AppController\Logs" I see "Virtual Machine Manager for System Center 2012 Console prerequisite failed."

Any ideas?

Hi,

Dear Alapanama, make sure that you have installed SCVMM Console.

And could you please clarify that mean "SVCCM" ?

Sure, the SCVMM Console is installed. SVCCM is a SCVMM with a typo. With a lot of them. And with the SCCM rounding my head also.

Hi Alpanama,

The likely reason is a version mismatch between App Controller and Virtual Machine Manager. Are they both SP1 Beta, or are they both 2012 RTM?

The log file should have some additional details prior to where it notes the failure of the pre-req.

Kind Regards,

Richard
