Unable to import/save SISS packages
HiI'm having problems saving SISS packages into the internal master tables on SQL 2005. When trying to do this I get:Exception detailsSave to SQL Server failed.Storing or modifying packages in SQL Server requires the SSIS runtime and database to be the same version. Storing packages in earlier versions is not supported.(SQL Server Import and Export Wizard)Storing or modifying packages in SQL Server requires the SSIS runtime and database to be the same version. Are the two issues related? Anyone have any ideas? I have looked at modifying the MSDTSSRVRand insertingthe server name and instance. Would this help? Many thanks for any help.

I've managed to resolve the problem but thanks for your help Sudeep. In case anyone has the same problem and stumbles on this post, I inserted the actual server name and instance into the MsDtsSrvr.ini.xml and restarted the service.

Hi,When you are working with non default instance for SSISyou can give the server name in this file. The path is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn
