Unable to filter administrator and built-in synchronization account
Hi all,
I am having a peculiar problem.I have created filters for administrator and built-in synchronization account while creating FIM MA.I have given only 1 join condition in AD MA "employeeID-->employeeID
.The problem is whenever i run full sync in FIM i get 2 errors :-"sync-rule-provisioning failed".
when i click on the errors i fount the 2 accounts to be administrator and built in synchronization account.further clicking on stack trace i get the "the DN must be set before calling commit.newconnector()" error.
I am using automatic OU provisioning.
Can any one help me on this??Bundu

Do you have to synchronize these accounts at all

Apparently, your filter configuration is not working.
If the filter is configured correctly, both accounts shouldn't make it into the metaverse - apparently, they made it.
The filter is one issue, there is also something wrong with your synchronization policy.
Both accounts shouldn't even have an ERE attached - apparently, they do.
You should first check, why your connector filter on the FIM MA doesn't filter the two objects to get rid of the synchronization error.
The next step is to check your synchronization policy.
EREs should only be attached to objects you intend to synchronize.
Eventually, the two objects should be fixed in the FIM service database.

Thanks Markus.
What i found out is connector filters don't work for codeless provisioning!I couldn't find any other reason why my filter isn't working.
the filter conditions for person object type are :
DisplayName equals Administrator
DisplayName equals Built-in Synchronization Account
is my observations true?

Finally issue got solved. It seems the temperature here is making me silly now a days!
I was using OR filter condition instead of AND.
Once i rectified the filter condition, the issue got solved.
Thanks all!Bundu
