I've searched and found many references to my particular error, but didn't see a solution in any of those posts. I'm getting the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. Exact text from RS log follows: reportrendering!ReportServer_0-2!1d30!05/16/2012-12:27:01:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.RenderingObjectModelException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.RenderingObjectModelException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. This is the resulting error for both CSV and XML. And it fails in both Report Manager and in VStudio 2008 with the same error. I tried a repair from the ISO (DEV edition) but that did not resolve the problem. Any idea on how to troubleshoot this error?Barry Day
