I added a software deployment for Adobe Reader X (AdbeRdr1001_en_US.exe). However, it's not doing anything. I added the approvals once and set the deadline. At that point it just would not install at all. It gave some weird message saying "The number of computers on which the update has been downloaded but not yet been installed or has been installed and is pending restart.". It stayed there like that for hours. I then tried with a different pc and this time choosing "Publish updates to add/remove programs". It took a long time for it to finally appear under deployment status. And now it just says "The number of computers on which the update has been downloaded but not yet been installed or has been installed and is pending restart." There is no change in the status. Any ideas? Also, does any know why it would take a while to show up in deployment status? This server is only managing 4 computers as a test and it's a very beefy server. There is barely any load on it.
