Unable to configure Reporting Services 2008 R2
Hi On a Windows Server 2008 R2 server, I had to uninstall a working SQL Server 2008 R2 installation. I also uninstalled II7 as I was having problem configuring SSRS. When I go to Reporting Service Configuration Manager --> Web Service URL, I click the Apply button to accept the defaults and I get the following message: Reserving url http://+:80 The Url has already been reserved. Then when I go to the Report Manager URl section, I get the following error: Configure Web Service Url before the Report Manager Virtual Directory What have I done wrong? Previously I have always been to install using default configurations but something did not go right with the uninstall perhaps? I did follow the Tech Net instructions for uninstalling SQL Server 2008. The only thing I couldn't find was the Reporting Services virtual directories. Could this be the issue? Amir

Fixed it: Thanks to this post, I ran netsh http delete urlacl http://+:80/Reports_INST3245/ netsh http delete urlacl http://+:80/ReportServer_INST3245/ on the server and I was the able to complete the configuration of SSRS. Amir
