We have used MOM clean tool and rebooted the server also still the agent is present in Add or remove programs. whenever we tryied to uninstall SCOM agents we are getting the following error "The product version is not supported" Please tell me how to remove the agents from add or remove programs. Is there any way to remove it or Any registry changes will help us .

If you were to come before running momclean, maybe it would be easier. If the agent was PUSHED from the SCOM console, you need to use the SCOM console to delete the agent. You also need sufficient permissions to complete the uninstall operation as a user. If someone in your company previously _manually_ installed the agent on the server, then add-remove would be the right route. Don't try and add/remove a pushed agent. If you have not tried management group delete, you may try that, but since you already removed stuff with MOMclean this may not work. At a certain point of corruption, you could be looking at a format/install of windows server OS. Microsoft Corporation

Yeah, the momclean will ahve taken away bits and pieces that will now almost for sure disable any normal remove. But you can try Dans suggestion first to remove it from the scom console (uninstall agent from there and if all fails the delete agent). I assume it is not working anymore anyway. If all that fails you might be looking at a full manual cleanup. Either by formatC or by going through registry and file system step by step to remove it or restore a backup from before the momclean action or even before the manual removal attempt.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My BICTT Blog)

Are you using the updated tool? http://blogs.technet.com/b/momteam/archive/2010/11/16/updated-momclean-reskit-tool-for-om2007r2.aspx If the cleanup tool didn't work, take a look here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/jonathanalmquist/archive/2010/07/22/brute-force-uninstall-of-management-group.aspxHTH, Jonathan Almquist - MSFT
