Hello Srujan, I suggest to troubleshoot this issue in two directions: 1. Check the file userdisp.aspx itself. As its a built-in file that wont be changed during the operations, you can back up the original file into another place and get another copy to replace it. Test the issue again after that. 2. If changing the file doesnt make any difference. Please reproduce the issue, and check the Event Viewer(eventvwr.msc) for related errors under System, Application and Security categories. Hope it helps! Regards, Lionel

I am having exactly the same issue. adding the"&force=1" to the url displays the info. How can i turn on this property? Also, this is causing the crawl fails:sps3://mysite/site$$$people/...mid=*****Error in PortalCrawl Web Service. (The item was deleted because it was either not found or the crawler was denied access to it.)thanks, Sara

Please reproduce the issue and check what do you get into the ULS logs. I LOVE MS..... Thanks and Regards, Kshitiz (Posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.)

ULS didn't log anything related to error that I get. For some users, it displays the error page and while some of the users information, I am able to see and that doesn't have "&force=1" included in the url. I have My sites disabled so none of the users have their indidual site set up. Even for myself (administrator), I can't view my own information from the userdisp page.

I am also having the same issue. I cannot find anything related in the log files for SP or Server event viewer. I am curious if any of you experiencing this current userdisp.aspx issue previously had an error with SSP administration, namely the following error with the Search Administration link: "The resource object with key 'S2SearchdminDashboard_Title' was not found. I had to recently repair this error via the _app_bin\layouts.sitemap replacement fix. Also, does anyone experience an error where the userdisp.aspx resolves to the localhost address? (i.e.: http(s)://'localhost'/layouts/userid.aspxbunchofotherstuff) Any relevant reply to this may help with a fix. Thx

I get this error too, but only when I pick specific users from the _catalogs/users/simple.aspx page.
