I am trying to manage a large library that contains about 6,000 documents. I would like to use filtered views, which should only display 30-60 documents each. I tried the filtered views and indexing the column used to filter the views. The column is a managed metadata column, also displayed as a key filter.
SharePoint allows me to add an Index on my managed metadata column. However, when I user PowerShell to view indexes on my library, it shows the column as not actually indexed. Even stranger, it shows a duplicate of the column with "_0" after it. This duplicate is not indexed either.
Because of my lack of index, I am unable to view the library without resource throttling causing problems.
