Unable resume or remove failed move requests

Hello.

Recently i moved many archive mailboxes from one database to another inside Exchange 2010 organization. Most mailboxes successfully moved. But some appeared in fail state. When i try resume or remove move request, receive a error:

Error:
Failed to communicate with the mailbox database.
MapiExceptionMaxSubmissionExceeded: Unable to save changes. (hr=0x80004005, ec=1242)

In Move Statistics:

FailureCode                      : -2146233088
FailureType                      : SourceMailboxIsNotInSourceMDBPermanentException

Message                          : Error: The source mailbox is in the wrong mailbox database

In move request i used "-BadItemLimit Unlimited -AcceptLargeDataLoss" paremeters. All databases is mounted. All Exchange services is running. All exchange servers is available on network.

I've not seen this before, so what I'm proposing is just a guess.

Try running Get-MoveRequest "Name" and pipe it to FL to see all the properties.

Then see if you can remove the move request with some combination of the MoveRequestQueue and MailboxGUID parameters.

Hi,

According to the error message, it seems caused by mailbox store in an unrecognized mailbox database and Mailbox replication service cannot get it. You you get more details about this error in Move Request log.

Since this issue only occur on some special account, please open ADUC, select the user who move failed, Properties, Security (Advanced Features needs to be on under View), then click Advanced, and check the box to "Allow inheritable permissions..." for testing.

If this issue persists, please post relevant move request log without sensitive information for further troubleshooting.

Thanks

Ed Crowley, are you seriously? Of course not. Values for MailboxGiud  and MoveRequestQueue i changed. I do not want to show them.
