Didthe reporting pointever work for you? If not: check rsetup.log. You also could try to uninstall and reinstall the reporting point. What are you meaning with "but when i use IIS to access the URL that isworking fine"?

Kumar Rakesh said: Open the IIS Manager > Spend the Default Web Site > Select SMSReporting_Sitecode > Right Click and select manage Application > Click Browsethrough the above way i am able to open the Reporting URL.So the RP should be working fine. Is there a proxy server configured in IE? I am running out of ideas in that case.

If it works when choosing browse from the IIS Manager, the site itself obviously works. Is it possible that you chose to use a custom port when you set it up? If so, modify the url like this: http://sccmservername:port/SMSreporting_SitecodeTo find out which port you are using:- IIS 6: Open IIS Manager, expand server, click "Web Sites" in left pane. In right pane read value from "Port" column.- IIS 7: Open IIS Manager, expand server, expand "Sites", right click reporting site, choose "Bindings". Scroll down to Type=http and read value from "Port" column.
