Un-do approval workflow on a publishing site?
When you enable the publishing feature the makeup of the site changes quite a bit... It creates new folders and objects not included in the team site, If you don't need those features you can disable it but I'd recommend backing up any data first incase you need to restore. Read this about some issues with turning it off http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925974 Kris Wagner, MVP, MCITP, MCTS Twitter @sharepointkris Blog: http://www.sharepointkris.com/blog

I created a Publishing Site With Approval Workflow, and it turns out I don't really need approval workflow on the site, but just on a document library within the site. I thought perhaps I could just deactivate the publishing feature for the site, but after doing that, I can no longer save edites on a web part page. Can anyone advise me how I might handle this? There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.
