USMT Missing Profile Subfolders
In at least one instance I have run across a situation where a user has created his own subfolders under %USERPROFILE% and it doesn't seem that these get migrated with USMT 4. The rest of the profile and all documents were migrated as expected. Is this a known issue and are there any workarounds? Or is it possible that something simply went wrong with that one scanstate? Thanks, Mike

You may manually configure the *.xml file for scanstate. For detail information, please refer: Customize USMT XML Files http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd560793(WS.10).aspxPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Please check this article to know which file types USMT 4 migrates by default. Are missing file types listed in article ..? Have you done any customization in MigDocs.XML/MigUser.XML/Custom.XML to exclude certain files or file types...? which are in not being migrated ..? I'm not sure but check once, if these files are encrypted or hidden, sometimes USMT cannot migrate it ... If Still not done..I would suggest, check scanstate.log , loadstate.log, scanstateprogress.log & loadstateprogress.log...will get some clue as suggested by Niall. Regards, Sachin
