URL is not a valid routing destination- while configuring https url as a Send To connection for RecordCenter

Hi,

I want to send documents from publishing site collection to the  record center site collection after setting information management policy settings in the document library. Also I provided Send To connection from Central Administration to my web application's record center. But I am facing the issue of UR is not a valid routing destination.

I have followed below links:

 1) Angler-wordpress

 2) MSDNBlog

Note: My prod.env. SharePoint 2013 is only accessible on a secure channel (SSL).When we configured from my test environment using http:// it successfully run and moved the document from site to the record center site. But since it involves the SSL, am unable to successfully configure this.

Yes ,we have tested url of the send to connection ,  web service and we  are able to see the  service and its methods.

Also we have configured web app with AAM in CA.&when we  created a new web application with htttp:// the issue does not arises. It  works correctly, when we use https:// only, the issue reappears.

Does this means that , something to do with SSL certificate?

Any other settings do I need to perform for resolving this strange issue?

Hi,

To configure Send To connection URL with https, You need to establish a trust for the Root Certificate of the SSL certificate used for the web application.

Please refer to the detailed steps in the link below:

Victoria,

Thanks  for your time and reply. I have already gone through the joran's blog and implemented the same.

But unfortunately it also failed to work. We have a CompanyName_Root_CA.cer which I already had done in the production server's  central admin's "Manage Trust" page.
