URL in report server
I would like to provide a URL in the report manager that points to a file on a network share. I do not want to upload the file just a URL to the file.

Hello,
In the "Action" hyperlinks only 'http://', 'https://', 'ftp://', 'mailto:' and 'news:' are allowed, not 'file://' so you can link files.
Anyway, it's a report to print, not a web side.Olaf Helper

Hi Olaf,
I'm not "linking" from within a report. I'm "linking" from within report manager. For now I'm uploading a .htm file with the content shown below. I'd prefer a more end user friendly method (if one exists).

Hi d_ddd,
Since you do not want to upload the file just a URL to the file, you could upload the whole file on the report manager from the network share, just click the Upload File button on the report manager site, then click Brouwse button, type in your
network share document's URL \\machine\share\thefile.doc
