URGENT: Move SSRS 2000 Databases to SQL Server 2008 Instance
Somewhere on MSDN, I read that you can put the SSRS 2000 databases on a SQL 2005 instance. This came from a Microsoft guy. My question is similar - can I also put the databases on SQL 2008 and if so do I need to set compatibility mode? Can't find an answer to this question anywhere and it's become urgent. If you can put the databases on 2005 then surely you can do the same on 2008 as it support SQL 2000 databases. I don't want to test this till I hear that the configuration is supported.

Hi nzrdb6, SSRS 2000 had not been supported by microsoft. Also, i have SSRS 2000 environment for this test. I just try to host my SSRS 2005 report server database on SQL Server 2008. It is ok. So, you can give it a try. thanks, Jerry
