UNABLE TO DEPLOY OFFICE 2013 WITH SCCM 2012 R2

I have followed everything from this web sitestep by step

http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/How-to-Deploying-Office-0f954e7f

i can install from the location using setup.exe no problem

i try to deploy it and i can error code

0x87D00213(-2016411117)

it looks like its waiting for user to enter something and it just fails

This happens only when i use the required option

i have been trying everything for the past couple of weeks and need to get this up and running

please note that i have tried with office 2010 installed x64 and its suppose to remove it and install 2013 x64 using setup.exe /admin (this works if i do it manually but not using SCCM) the workstation are plain and no other app his installed, i also tried with no office installed and get same thing.

Thaks everyone for your help on this, its really appreciated

Hi,

the office installation will create a log file for you that perhaps could be of assistance. "By default, Setup creates a standard log file and saves it as a text file in the %Temp% folder on the user's computer. If an installation fails, Setup creates a verbose log file in the same location, starting with the package that caused the failure.

You can also set the "Program Visibilty" on the deployment type so that the end user at least in the test can see the dialog that is displayed.

sounds to me like you have a prompt or something like that waiting for some user input but you don't allow the user to interact during the required deployment.

Are you quite sure you have

Accept License Terms = Checked

Display Level = None

Suppress Modal = Checked

No other configuration on the Licensing and User Interface page of the OCT

If you run setup.exe manually, does it run 100% silent (not even a OK at the end)?

I wrote that guide you link to, but I've never tested the guide on the 64-bit version of Office (not saying that it's not working, it should work).

But I'm just wondering why you want to use the 64-bit version of Office? If you dont have requirements for 64-bit, it's recommended to always use the 32-bit version (even on 64-bit Operating systems).
