Two Primary Site Server / Same Active Directory
I am setting up a second ConfigMgr 2012 Site, for development/testing, and am trying to decide if having two CM 2012 installations on the same network connected to the same Active Directory service is going to cause any problems or if I should create it's own active directory?

I would separate the two totally, might save you some pain in the future.

Check out Johan's hydration kit, its awesome. You can have it fully build a test lab while you sit back and relax :)

Just make sure your dev environment is not publishing to the AD and you should be fine. But its better that you install the second site in isolation with its own AD.

Yeah I looked at that, never used it but I probably should... thank you.  A concern of having a second domain on the same sub net was brought up..... I don't see the concern and am reading that it should not be a problem but others felt more comfortable having configmgr share domain and I am weary about it.

I feel slightly more comfortable hearing this... sigh maybe I just need to invest the time in looking and the hydration kit and isolated it competently, thanks for the quick feedback!
