Trying to implement the 5.8 gh wifi band w/750mb router Just frustrated I can no longer manage wifi connections.

-in Windows 8.1 and now 10(I'm presuming as I was unable to get network maps either). Previous problems with key-loggers and drive-by  wifi connects forced me to Ethernet connecting our notebooks. My original Win 7 restore usb drive stick not write-protect able was  contaminated by a Trojan virus that installed a key-logger and automatically installed two wifi connectable's.  Unwilling to pay an exorbitant price for a replacement from the oem and the iso program from MSFT not including this release I was force to resort to use the Lunux operating system. Can we get them to re-implement the manage wifi connections feature?

Of the two new Windows 8.1 notebooks I worked on recently only my wife's allowed CD(DVD) restore media creation ability. Plus I have to keep emphasizing the recovery media should be created before going online to the internet.  Would it be possible to use SD type storage with the write protect switches for recovery media?

Hi,

I'm a bit confused with your first paragraph, it would be better to be more clear with your problem and requirement.

Second paragraph, you can create Recovery Media by using SD, but it's write and read speed is considerable.
