Im not sure what that means here. I had the share open locally on my desk to see if the files replicated but closed it after I read that solution. Should I create an another copy of the package and try it again?jshely

Have you verified that the computer account for the system holding the SMS Provider role (most likely your primary site server) has permissions on the server hosting the DP? Also check name resolution from the primary site server for the system holding the DP role. Can I use one node of that Cluster? I thought we were allowed to use Cluster shares as DPs? I.E. Cluster name (clsxxxxxxprd) share name (filxxxxxprd\SMSPMID)jshely

1.check the DP server name is added in the Primary server and Primary server name in DP server admin group. The first part is definitely not needed, since a DP does not connect back (IOW send data) to the siteserver.

Yes. I have verified that the Primary Site Server is in the local admin group on the DP. It is not a DC. All the permissions seem correct, yet I am still getting the "Failed to create the Package directory SMSPKG\PRD0007\ under the export".. Any other ideas?jshely
