Tracking site editing
Hi, We are currently using wss3.0 and there are only about 5 persons who have permission to edit webparts and webpages. however we have had some cases where someone deletes webparts from the webpage and sometimes losing some valuable information and no one would say who did it. Is there any way that we could determine who may have deleted web parts from on a page?

I dont think there is a way to find who deleted the web parts from a page. If the page is a web part page, you can enable the property that requires users to check out the page before editing. But there is not much you can do for list pages or the home page.Regards, Mahesh

Thank you. I will look into the option about checking out the page.

Thank you. I will look into the option about checking out the page. If a page is checked out does that mean users cannot access it until it is checked back in?
