To view overrides?
I'm fairly new to scom. I just created an override. I have created them before. I save it to a custom MP. Whenever I import a MP, I first create a custom MP and name is such: company_name-managementPackName-Override
So I save it there. I created it by right-clicking on an alert and choosing overrides>override the rule>for a specific object of class:blahblahblah
But under Authoring>Overrides, I don't see the override I just created. If I go back to that same alert and do Overrides>Summary>For a specific object of class:blahblah, I see it. So it's there. Why don't I see it under Authoring>Overrides?

Sure. There are products like MP Tuner (Viacode.com) that can help you view and manage override scoping visually.Microsoft Corporation

This only shows overrides for a whole class (like Windows Server), there's no way to scope it to show overrides for a specific object."Fear disturbs your concentration"

Is there another way to view them?
Or is right-clicking on the alert the only way?

Hi
If you target the override at a specific object (e.g. a specific server) then you will see object listed in the context field. Go to Authoring, Management Pack objects and Overrides. Find the override target class, open up the list and you'll see the individual
monitors \ rules that have an override targeted against that class.
If the target of the override is a specific object then the object is listed in the context field.
There is also an overrides report in the Microsoft Reports Generic Library folder - again, if you target a specific object then this is displayed in the target column.
Cheers
