You may want to post this as a question instead of a discusion. That way people get points for answering. Does the Domino server already have the custom attribute? If so, it's just a matter of clicking the add button under "select attributes" in the MA properties. The new attribute will be labled as "Extended".Alex Trusler Software Developer

Hi Alex, Thanks for your reply. Yes the New address book in the Domino server have the custom attribute. I got the attribute in the Notes MA as a Extented attribute but i am not able to find the new attribute in my existing Inbound Synchronization rule. I want to pass the new attribute value to the Meteverse attribute. How can we get the newly added attribute in the Inbound Synchronization rule.Enayathulla.S

If you are not able to see the new attribute in the Synchronization Rule to add flow for it, it could be that you need to refresh the schema of the FIM Service Management Agent as well. I would follow the steps outlined here to refresh the FIM Service Management Agent. TimTimothy P Macaulay Security Identity Support Team at Microsoft timmac@microsoft.com

Is this during the creation of the Synchronization Rule? Let's check the basics. You extend the schemaYou refreshed the schemaYou selected the attribute in Select Attributes on the Lotus Notes MAYou refreshed the FIM Service MA, and confirmed that the sync engine and portal are talking to each other via the Request History as mentioned in the article. You still do not see the attribute in the Synchronization Rule to create attribute flow? Is this correct?Timothy P Macaulay Security Identity Support Team at Microsoft timmac@microsoft.com

Hi Tim, 1. I have added the new attribute in lnschema file 2. I refreshed Notes MA 3. I have added the New attribute in Notes MA . I can see the New attribute is as a Extended & I selected the attribute in Notes MA. 4. Refreshed the FIM MA schema. 5. Still i am not able to find the attribute in my Synchronization rule. I am updating existing Synchronization rule to include this new attribute flow. New attribute is visible if I try to create new synchronization rule. Problem is that the newly added attribute is not visible in existing synchronization rule. I don't want to recreate the synchronization rule since it is already in production, impact is high. is there any way to get the newly added attribute in the existing synchronization rule ?
