we are using MOSS 2007 .we must restart the server every day then only sharepoint works, other wise it will show the error. I think our timer job setting is not working properly. How to solve this issue?

HI Jey, can you let me know what exactly would be the error if you do not restart the sharepoint server. I mean do you get an error whlie browsing sharepoint site or central admin if so what is the error message. Plese eloborate. Thanks, Raj

Well, as the errors suggest......Do you have SSO configured? The only things these messages are showing is the fact that the service SSOSRV.EXE is having an issue and saying that SSO is not configured. Do you have a log of when the server goes down? Thanks, Rick

HI, Have you tried IISRESET or app pool recycling during the issues you face on your server? If not I would suggest you to try the same during the time. However to find out the root cause of the issue you are facing I would suggest you to enable verbose mode of logging at the time you face this error. How many WFEs are there in your farm? Is this issue happens in all WFEs or in only selected ones? Have you checked the database at the time you face issues? If not I suggest you to do so and check for errors or deadlocks. There is a tool SQL Profiler that will help you a lot in analysis at the database level. I hope this will help you out. Thanks, Rahul Rashu
