Timeout for Export to Excel
Hi fellow, We've a report takes 4~5mins to generated because the complication of the SQL store procedure. The report can export to pdf without any problem. But when we try to export to excel, the IE died after a short period (like 30 secs), this seems to be some session expired issue. Does anyone have a clue how to resolve this situation? Thank you in advance.Joe

Hi Joe.C, From the information posted, a report will take 4~5 mins to generate, which means it is really a very heavy report. We will not recommend such a complicated report. As we know, it always causes various issues and greatly reduced the performance. If you can, we will suggest you to simply your report as much as you can. However, I still provide you a Timeout error troubleshooting method: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mariae/archive/2009/09/24/troubleshooting-timeout-errors-in-reporting-services.aspx . Thanks, Lola Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.
