Timecard Management Appl Template - Time stamp is incorrect
I have installed theTimecardManagement.stp on MOSS 2007UK with Danishlanguagepack. Everything works fine except for the time stamp whenI punch in which is 3 hours ahead of our local time. Regional settings on the Moss Server is ok. Time zone on the webapllikation hosting the web is ok. Further it starts with elapsed time for 9 hours and counting from there.

As you are in Denmark, youare 9 hours ahead of Redmond time. I doubt if that factand this"Further it starts with elapsed time for 9 hours" is a coincidence.Remember that these application templates are just examples that you should really use only to give you ideas. In my book I show how to install the Room and Equipment Reservation Template precisely because it requires US date formats. In this wayI could both warn people about using these templates in production systems and also show that some of the errors in the templates have been fixed by "the community". In that case now-MVP Steven Van de Craen did a revised version which corrected the US date requirement error.WSS FAQ sites: WSS 2.0: http://wssv2faq.mindsharp.com WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007: http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com Total list of WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 Books (including foreign language titles) http://wss.asaris.de/sites/walsh/Lists/WSSv3%20FAQ/V%20Books.aspx

For those still looking for a proper solution to this problem. I have found the actual problem is that this template is hard coded to use (GMT-08) Pacific Time zone. Instead of using Parent Site Settings. The easy fix for this problem is; After creating the Timecard site from the Timecard template. Go to Site Settings, Regional Settings. There you need to change the Time zone setting to you timezone.
