I have a Links list. I am creating links to files (either local C: drive or network drive) and would like Thumbnails to be shown for .BMP or .JPG files. The files must be in the file system and cannot be stored in a picture library. In the full list or webpart, the Thumbnail column shows as a broken image icon (Windows). Both the link and thumnail fields are filled in with the filename. Variations of the file spec have been tried (ie; 2 or 3 slashes, forward/back slashes). How can I get the Thumbnail to display?file://D:/xxx/My Documents/Work/1 Assets/8830.gif
