Thread count too high SQL server - SCOM alerts

Hi All,

We are getting high thread count alerts in SQL server through SCOM.

How can we resolve it? or is it normal?

Max no of threads is set to 0

we have 16 CPU with 4 sockets.

The error is popping up for both SQL Server 2008 and SQL Serve

This is basically an informational message which says server is under load its not an error message. On busy server you can get alerts like this

Is there a way to get rid of it? Apart from increasing no of CPU's or doing any infrastructure upgrade.

Is it also due to lot's of connection as our app team uses connection pooling?
