Hi All , I have site where chinese language is enabled and I created a folder with a speicifc conventoional chinese character ,when I try to cerate any subfolder under the same I get error as below Due to the presence of characters known to be used in Cross Site Scripting attacks, access is forbidden.This web site does not allow Urls which might include embedded HTML tags can any body suggest as how to go about the issue Regards Srujan.N srujan

Srujan, this message comes from a 3rd party tool that is integrated within the IIS. Ask your web server administrator. regards, Markus

Hi, I agree with Markus. Do you use any 3<sup>rd</sup> party tool like Site Minder? I have seen the above error which was caused by the 3rd party application Site Minder. The reason is that the SiteMinder ISAPI filter reads all incoming requests and scans the query string for invalid characters according to its criteria. If those criteria are violated, it will throw the above error message. Although I’m not sure if it’s the same in your scenario, I suggest you check such settings in IIS. Hope this helps. Lu Zou
