This page has expired error in MOSS 2007
Hello, I have multiple users that are tying to provide feedback in realtime to a presentation on a Sharepoint List. They have the new form (List new form) open on their laptop, and add data at the end of each session which could be 1-2 hours. Now some users have started to complain of the fact that the when trying to submit on the new form they see "this page has expired" error. Initially my hough was it was a session state issue. Therefore I looked at the session state in CA and found it is configured to get expired in 60 minutes. However this is not true, because in my test instance I was able to successfully submit to a request that was opened for 120 min. Not sure why are users experiencing the "Web Page has expired issue". Please suggest. RRS

this error often occurs when user submits form, goes to some other page and then clicks back - in this case as this previous form was rendered as result of postback, browser shows this error. Since in your case users don't go away from the page - the first thing I would try is to ask them delete temporary internet files (if problem is reproducible in IE) and try to reproduce it again. I saw several posts which said that it helped in similar case.Blog - http://sadomovalex.blogspot.com CAML via C# - http://camlex.codeplex.com
