This error is driving me crazy
I am not sure if you can get anything just from this error, but I can figure this one out
Error 2 [rsInvalidReportParameterDependency] The report parameter ‘AddressTypeName’ has a DefaultValue or a ValidValue that depends on the report parameter “AddressTypeID”. Forward dependencies are not valid. C:\Projects\PASORT\Reports\RPTNewWorkin.rdl 0 0 www.helixpoint.com

AddressTypeName has a default value which depends on the AddressTypeID parameter (You would most probably using a query as the input for the default value of AddressTypeName which would have a condition for the AddressTypeID parameter)
Forward dependancies - now the order in which the report parameter is displayed would be AddresssTypeName first and then second the AddressTypeID.
Solution - Just swap the order of report parameters and it should be fine. Basically, AddressTypeID shoul come before AddressTypeNameCheers,
Jason

Can you list the queries for the parameter definition? Thanks.

Well, if you go to the BIDS layout, open the report option from the menu and click on the report parameters, you should be able to see both the reoprt parameters are there - ID and Name. Maybe you have kept the ID as hidden parameter, which is why you cant
see it when the report is run. You can change the order from there itself (you will have the arroews to move it up and down)
The above way is for ssrs 2005. In 2008, it is more easier to change the order because the parameters are present in the same window where you have the datsets, and you can change the order from there onlyCheers,
Jason
