In our MOSS 2007 corporate intranet, we're using the out-of-the-box News Site to allow our users to submit news articles. Most of the users have difficulty understanding how to create the articles, even when we explain the process several times. They also have issues adding photos to the image library and then finding those uploaded photos to include in their news articles. We are looking for a 3rd party solution that we can use to completely replace the news site method of publishing news articles on our portal. The solution not only has to be user friendly (fewer steps to submit a news item) but it has to have a way to add images without first uploading them to a library, copying the URL of the image, etc.. In addition, it needs to have the capability of setting an audience for the content and support workflow so that submitted articles can be approved by our Public Affairs division prior to going "live". Any suggestions for 3rd party products that can replace this functionality? We're not looking to code this ourselves in-house (we're not really staffed for that) and want a vendor that offers support for their product. Thanks!

if you are having issue explaining how to do, then may be you can create FAQ document and upload in the portal. third party tool meeting your requirement, try Confluence wiki. you didnt mention the security aspect of third party tool, because sharepoint has a upper hand in it.ullasjoshi
