Hi, All my Office web application working well online on my sharePoint server, when I need to use the application installed on my desktop, all working (Excel,Word, PowerPoint) well except for OneNote give error "The web service is unavailable. (Error code: 0xE4010642)" I am facing same thing every where not only my desktop even on the sharePint server itself. Note that online I can open OneNote files on the web perfectly. but when I use "OPEN IN ONENOTE" it is not working. please help

try removing update KB2956165, the irony is that this update was suppose "Improve the syncing ability for OneNote 2013 when many users co-author a shared notebook that is saved on a SharePoint 2013 library." good luck

Hi, I still have same issue when I sync up OneNote to SharePoint server It gives error sync up when I open using the OneNote desktop software although I can access the notebook from the sharepoint web link:

Status: Not Syncing

The web service is unavailable. (Error code: 0xE4010642)

I really appreciate your help to solve this issue
