The use of iframe and include in SharePoint
Morning, I am a Web Content Publisher for one of Australias largest Government Department's and we use SharePoint for our online content. There are currently issues regarding the amount of control we have over the content, and I am fairly sure our Support team is lieing to us. What I am after is a way of using an iframe or an include tag to drag in content from another server (just from a standard FrontPage server). Our IT support has told us that SharePoint does not have either of these features. As I am a Content Publisher, I don't have access to the SharePoint servers, so I was hoping I could get some clarification. Does SharePoint have a method similar to iFrame or Include that can drag in content from another webpage. Thanks, Toby

There's a standard web part in all versions of SharePoint 2007 which let's you grab data from another site and present it in a page. It's the equivalent of what in v2 you used to use an IFrame for (and is probably IFrame under the skin). Look for the Page Viewer web part. (with Moderator hat on moving this to Admin) 2010 Books: SPF 2010; SPS 2010; SPD 2010; InfoPath 2010; Workflow etc. 2007 Books: WSS 3.0; MOSS 2007; SPD 2007; InfoPath 2007; PerformancePoint; SSRS; Workflow Both lists also include books in French; German; Spanish with even more languages in the 2007 list.
