Hi, You can create a custom Permission Level with add item but no edit item permission in Site Actions > Site Settings > Modify All Site Settings > Advanced permissions > Settings > Permission Level > Click Manage Hierarchy > Copy Permission Level > Give a name to the new permission level > uncheck Edit Items checkbox > Click OK. Give the new permission level to appropriate users/group, then this users/ group can add/upload document but not be able to edit document. Hi subbu, Creating permissions for SharePoint Views is not possible OOB, however you can achieve this by creating two different lists providing unique permissions and appropriate rights for both.--Cheers
