The load balancer is not provisioned

When I am trying to search anything, I am getting this error (in Sharepoint 2013)

"The load balancer is not provisioned. Verify the load balancer was provisioned successfully before retrieving endpoint addresses"

Any Idea

Hi Lasanthajn,

Based on the error message, this seems to be a service application not working issue.

Please check the ULS log or Event log to check in which service application the error occurs, like BCS, secure store service, app management service, then re-provision the service application using PowerShell command, or re-create the service application from UI to check the result.

And also go through this link too:

Hi,

try to recreate search service application.

Hi,

As I understand, you encountered the error when you search in SharePoint 2013.

And from the log you provide, the error occurs at SharePoint search Service.

1. Restart the SharePoint Search Service to check if it can work.

2. Reset the IIS to check if it can work.

3. Stop the 'Search Query and Site Settings Service' on servers where the query role is not enabled.

4. Recreate the search service application as Lucy suggested to see how it works.

Best regards
