Please retry the operation after sometime".Due this problem,my approved software for deploymenthas not worked. The client computer (member of thecomuter group) has not downloaded the software. When I check the Deployment Status, from Software section inSCE console, I can't see any status.I open WSUS console and find the computer group only but the computer group is empty, wheremy SCE console showing clinet comptuers in it.Please help

Hi All, When I found the client computer is in my SCE console but not in WSUS Console, I manually add that Client Computer in my WSUS console to make it work. I have successfully installed the software but the computer group summary report is showing the status. I will say, this is just work-around but not the solution asthe problem remains as it is. In my understanding, I when I use SCE, I don't need to do anything in WSUS and computer group will automatically synchronize but in my case it is not doing this. So please let me why WSUS and SCE dont synchronize? Do I have to move express edition database to full version? What else I should do to make my SCE run smoothly?

Hi,This is a rule not the MP. You need to go to authoring->management pack objects->rules to find it. And this rule is wroten to the sealed MP--- Essentials internal library, you can not create is manually. If you cannot not find this rule, it seems somewhat corrupt in SCE server. Maybe reinstall it a best practice.HTH.Jie-Feng Ren - MSFT

Hi, Please open Event Viewer (Start -> run -> eventvwr.exe) on your Essentials server and check the "Operations Manager" event log.In the event log I'm expecting that you'll see events like the following:Event Type: WarningEvent Source: System Center EssentialsEvent Category: NoneEvent ID: 30103Date: <date>Time: <time>User: N/AComputer: <computer>Description:The SCE Group identified by 'b65c5397-717e-a28a-f293-03265d075f53' could not synchronize to its associated WSUS Group identified by '9d8ca230-ae56-4415-afb0-f66e83d18222' because a connection to the SCE server could not be made. The synchronization will be retried. This indicates that the process to synchronize membership of groups between Essentials and WSUS is encountering errors.Out of interest, how many computer groups do you currently have?We are aware of an issue in Essentials 2007 where as the number of computer groups increases it is more likely that you will see this issue. The work around is to reduce the number of computer groups that you have.ThanksRichardThis posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Thank very much Richard,I appreciate your answer first of all. Yes, I can see lots of 30103 Event ID. I have at least 31 Computer Groups and everytime I need, I update or create new computer group. I will try to reduce the number of comptuer group and see if that improve ( I think, it will)Thank you again.

Good question. We have made changes in Essentials 2010 that allow more groups to be successfully synchronized, so one option for people is to try Essentials 2010 Beta now, or wait for the final release version.Weare not currently planning to makea fix for Essentials 2007, but I am looking through the forums to try and understand how many people are having this issue. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
