The enterprise Wiki page rich text editor will not allow to select & delete background images with z-index property

I am facing the following problem.

1- I am using a conversion tool to convert word documents into wiki pages.

2- Currently if there are any background images such as header logo or footer images inside the word documents, they will be converted as image with z-index property inside the wiki page.

3- So now if users want to remove these images from the wiki page ; by editing the wiki page content,, they will not be able to select these images and delete them.

4- For example this is an image inside the wiki page content:-

<img title="/kb/CustomerServiceKB/Documents/CustomerServiceKB/Documents/Word To Wiki Conversion-6cbb7248-f5ef-4ba1-92d7-121497435295/23-Imaging using Clonezilla v0.1 09JUL14/Imaging using Clonezilla v0.1 09JUL142.png" src="/kb/CustomerServiceKB/Documents/CustomerServiceKB/Documents/Word%20To%20Wiki%20Conversion-6cbb7248-f5ef-4ba1-92d7-121497435295/23-Imaging%20using%20Clonezilla%20v0.1%2009JUL14/Imaging%20using%20Clonezilla%20v0.1%2009JUL142.png" alt="" style="margin-top&#58;26.8pt;margin-left&#58;17.45pt;position&#58;absolute;z-index&#58;-65533;" />
The image will be displayed inside the rich text editor , but users cannot select it and delete it, so can anyone advice how i can remove background images from a wiki page content ?

Hi,

As I understand, you want to delete the background images in the wiki page in SharePoint 2013.

Could you please provide the details about selecting and deleting the background images? In the browser?

You could open the wiki page in the SharePoint designer, edit the page, click the advanced mode in the ribbon, find the images you want to delete and delete the code, then Save the page.

 The case below is about how to edit the page in the SharePoint designer.
