The Windows service for the SQL Server Agent for instance has stopped on computer X
The server has popped up this message: "The Windows service for the SQL Server Agent for instance xxxxxx has stopped on computer xxxxxx " What can I do to troubleshoot it? Is there any procedure to solve this problem? What might be causing it? Thank you

Hi What might be causing it? The SQL Server Agent on the server\instance XXXX has stopped. The message gives the details of the problem Is there any procedure to solve this problem? There is a task list on the right hand side of the monitoring console. You can start the SQL Server agent service from that. Or log on to the SQL Server and go to the services applet (start, run, services.msc) and start the SQL Server agent service.
