The WinRM settings are not configured correctly
Hi, I'm trying to install SC2012 on my laptop. I've uncompressed SC2012_UnifiedInstaller. exe, then runnig setup.exe, brings up SC2012 Installer. I hit Install System Center, after a short delay I get the error 'The WinRM settings are not configured correctly'. I have all of the pre-requisites installed: Win 7 64 bit SP1 IIS 6 Managment Console installed. .NET - latest version is installed Windows PowerShell v2 installed What else can be causing the problem? I did have to go into 'Windows Features' and turn on IIS 6 Managment Console. Do I need more IIS components? Thanks

Hi Personally, I'd strongly suggest not using the universal installer. SCOM takes about 20 minutes to install properly and I have seen people struggle for days (usually on the Orchestrator forum) to get the unified installer working. Pre-reqs are here - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh205990.aspx For SCOM you need a server operating system, ideally Windows 2008 R2 Sp1.
