The Relation property of the Role xxxx refers to the Relation fk_xxxx_xxxx_xxxx in the DataSourceView, which does not exist
I created a report model using an instance of the database a while back (a year or more), I since then rebuild the instance of the database. Now I want to add a new table from the database to the report model and add couple of new columns in existing tables to the report model. To do do this I did a "Data Source view" refresh which worked fine. I added a new entity to the report model and bound the new entity to the new table I just added to DSV. When I executed "Auto generate" for this new entity I got numerous errors (see below) for almost all tables in the report model. When I removed this new entity and just try to do a build of existing report model I still got may errors like the one below. I understand that when I build the database from scratch again now the physical foreign keys names will be different. I tried it with both BI studio from SQLSERVER 2005 and 2008. The Report model does not seems to automatically fresh foreign key names. When I looked at the XML file for report model it has the foreign key names hardcoded, though in Datasource view the foreign key names got refreshed, report model is still not updated with latest foreign key names. Is there any way to resolve this issue ? Error Msg : The Relation property of the Role xxxx refers to the Relation fk_xxxx_xxxx_xxxx in the DataSourceView, which does not exist Thanks in advance for any help to resolve this issue.
